The Critical Care Unit (CCU) is an 8 bed specialty unit with professional and highly trained staff skilled in the care of medical and surgical patients requiring advance medical procedures and specialized nursing care. 

Continuous electronic monitoring equipment and individualized clinical observation skills allow our critical care nurses to provide life-sustaining measures utilizing Advanced Cardiac Life Support protocols.  

Our Rapid Response Team (RRT) is in place to provide immediate clinical support by Respiratory Therapy and a Critical Care Nurse to any area of the facility requiring immediate clinical expertise.  Our goal at SRMC is to respond “early” and “proactively” to assist non-specialized areas and potentially prevent complete cardio-pulmonary arrest situations.
