On admission, each patient is given a privacy number to share with the family members you would like to have involved in your care. You may want to keep a note pad and pen at the bedside, you can request these items from our staff at no cost, to note questions you would like to ask your physicians when they visit. You can also expect to be visited by hospital administration that can answer any concerns about your care.
Remember to ask about assistance at home and share all safety concerns with your Case Manager or Nurse. To better prepare for hospital discharge, Patient Education information is provided through out your hospital stay.
Patients are also provided an opportunity to rest each afternoon from 2:00pm – 4:00pm . A “Quiet Time” sign will be posted in the hallway and hallway lights will be dimmed.
