The Baby Suite: A New Beginning

Santa Rosa Medical Center has the experience to answer your questions and help you understand important prenatal topics such as nutrition, exercise, and the labor and delivery process. Our competent staff cares for you throughout your pregnancy, and helps you make healthy choices for you and your baby, allowing you to best prepare for one of life's most exciting moments. Amazing changes take place in a pregnant woman’s body, as her baby grows and develops. With every pregnancy, new experiences, questions and concerns may arise. You may contact us 24 hours a day with any questions and concerns.

Childbirth/Prenatal Education

2009 Childbirth Class Schedule

Each class is offered on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
A fee of $10.00 is due at the beginning of the 1st class.

Class 1: January 10th, 17th, & 24th
Class 2: March 7th, 14th, & 21st
Class 3: May 2nd, 9th, & 16th
Class 4: July 11th, 18th, & 25th
Class 5: September 12th, 19th, & 26th
Class 6: November 7th, 14th, & 21st

Facilities and Staff

Santa Rosa Medical Center has a talented nursing staff in labor and delivery, on the postpartum unit and in the nursery. Anesthesiologists are available 24 hours a day to provide pain relief during labor.

Security


In addition pediatricians are available around the clock to care for newborns. In all pregnancies, a safe and healthy delivery for mother and baby is the priority. At Santa Rosa Medical Center we strive to see this through. We have proven security systems to ensure that your newborn is protected and safe.
