The da Vinci-Si Surgical System is a robotic surgical assistant that allows surgeons an alternative to traditional open surgery and conventional laparoscopic, or minimally invasive, surgery. This state-of-the-art robot places a new level of control and accuracy into a surgeon’s hands, and significantly reduces patients' pain, blood loss, and - most importantly - recovery time. The innovative, advanced technology enables surgeons to perform even the most complex and delicate procedures through very small incisions with unmatched precision.

Uro-Gynecologic Surgery
During robotic surgery, the surgeon is seated at a console a few feet away from the patient and views an actual image of the surgical site while operating in real-time, through tiny incisions, using electromechanically-enhanced instruments. The view finder on the robotic console provides a three-dimensional view. Plus, the equipment’s “wristed” robotic arms can rotate 360 degrees, and unlike human hands, will never shake. So, the surgeon has increased range of motion, improved dexterity and enhanced visualization.
