Visiting Policies & Hours
Visiting Hours
A brief delay in visiting hours may be encountered due to conditions existing in the unit at specified times. Visitors may be allowed in the unit at times other than those specified when patient’s condition warrants. Out-of-town visitors may be allowed to visit at times outside of the designated visiting hours.
Visiting Policy
For the health and safety of our patients and other visitors, we ask that you please dress appropriately. Please be sensitive to the condition and need for privacy of the patient and their roommates. We ask that you limit your visitation to no more than two visitors in a patient's room. This can be further restricted based on the needs and condition of the patient's roommate.
With the permission of the nursing staff, children are allowed to make brief visits as long as they are supervised by a responsible adult. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to visit in the Critical Care Unit (CCU). In certain cases, exceptions can be granted if approved by the nursing staff and the attending physician. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times in the waiting rooms and other public areas of the hospital. If the child becomes disruptive, both the child and the adult may be asked to leave the premises.
In the CCU, visitation is limited to two people for 10 minute periods during the hours posted at the unit entrance.
Labor and delivery visitors may include the husband/partner and coach. Siblings are allowed to visit at the discretion of the physician. Two visitors per patient are allowed in a semi-private room. Four visitors per patient are allowed in a private room. Waiting areas are provided for our CCU and operating room visitors.
