MILTON, Fla. (July 16, 2026) — Santa Rosa Medical Center and its Medical Staff are proud to announce a combined $15,000 donation to the Pace Athletic Recreation Association (PARA), with $7,500 contributed by the hospital and $7,500 by the Medical Staff, reinforcing their shared commitment to supporting the health and well-being of the communities they serve.
The donation will help fund improvements to PARA's facilities while also supporting a scholarship fund that provides registration assistance for children whose families may not otherwise be able to afford youth sports programs. As a volunteer-run organization, PARA relies on community support to maintain its programs and create opportunities for local families.
"Supporting organizations like PARA is an investment in the health and future of our community," said Randy DeLee, Chief Administrative Officer of Santa Rosa Medical Center. "We're proud to partner with our Medical Staff to support initiatives that expand access to youth sports and improve community recreational spaces. Together, we're encouraging active lifestyles, building stronger connections among families, and ensuring more children have the opportunity to participate, regardless of financial circumstances."
PARA President Jace Baxley said the donation will make a meaningful difference for local families.
"We're incredibly grateful for Santa Rosa Medical Center's generous support of our youth and our community," Baxley said. "Because PARA is entirely volunteer-run, contributions like this have a lasting impact. These funds will help improve our park and provide registration assistance so more children can experience the benefits of youth sports."
Youth athletics play an important role in promoting physical activity, teamwork, confidence and lifelong healthy habits. Through partnerships with organizations like PARA, Santa Rosa Medical Center continues to invest in initiatives that strengthen the community and improve quality of life for local families.
