Santa Rosa Medical Center Earns 5-Star Rating on Forbes' Top Hospitals by State 2026

MILTON, FL — Santa Rosa Medical Center is included on the Forbes list of Florida's Top Hospitals, earning a 5-star Overall Hospital Quality Rating on the publication's Top Hospitals by State 2026. Santa Rosa Medical Center is one of only 10 hospitals in the state of Florida, and the only hospital in the Panhandle, to receive the five-star rating.
Published on July 14, 2026, the Forbes rankings recognize hospitals delivering outstanding quality based on publicly available data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Provider Data Catalog. Hospitals are evaluated across four key areas: patient outcomes (55%), hospital best practices (20%), value (15%) and patient experience (10%). Each hospital receives an Overall Hospital Quality Rating ranging from one to five stars, with five stars representing the highest level of performance.
