Santa Rosa Medical Center In-Network with Blue Cross Blue Shield

Last year, our hospital contracted with American Physician Partners (APP) to provide physician staffing in our Emergency Rooms. This collaboration helps us continue to provide timely, effective emergency care and keep patient satisfaction high in our Emergency Rooms.

These physicians began the credentialing process with Blue Cross/Blue Shield in November 2018. Credentialing is required by insurance companies to verify education, qualifications, certifications, background and other information before they will be considered physicians in-network, or covered. While these physicians were waiting to be credentialed, patients with Blue Cross/Blue Shield may have received Explanations of Benefits stating that their emergency physicians were out-of-network.

Santa Rosa Medical Center is pleased to announce that physicians affiliated with American Physician Partners (APP) are credentialed as ER physicians and are now in-network providers with Blue Cross/Blue Shield effective June 1, 2019.

SRMC has been in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield for many years. The hospital and most independent members of our medical staff accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid and other major health plans.
