Santa Rosa Medical Center Welcomes New Family Medicine Physician

Carrie Anderson, M.D., joins Santa Rosa Medical Group Family Medicine in Navarre.
MILTON, Fla., - Santa Rosa Medical Group (SRMG) is expanding its care team with the addition of Carrie Anderson, M.D., a board-certified Family Medicine physician. Dr. Anderson begins August 9 in the Navarre Primary Care office, joining Charles Windfelder, DMSc, PA-C.
“This area is filled with a diverse population of the military, growing families and those exploring new life chapters,” Anderson said. “I am eager to get to know and support patients, regardless of their stage in life.”
The addition of Dr. Anderson at SRMG’s Navarre location means patients in southern Santa Rosa County and surrounding areas will have increased access to care. Patients can choose from same-day or telehealth appointments. Dr. Anderson earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Ind.. She completed residency training at St. Francis Family Medicine, now known as Franciscan Health Family Medicine, in Beech Grove, Ind., where she was named Administrative Chief Resident. Before moving to NWFL, Dr. Anderson was the designated institutional officer and residency program director for Franciscan Health Indianapolis Family Medicine. She has a special interest in preventive care, women’s health, nutrition and exercise, sports and wellness physicals, pediatric and geriatric care as well as chronic medical conditions.
“I enjoy working with my patients to develop customized lifestyle plans to fit their needs,” Anderson said.
Dr. Anderson joins the Santa Rosa Medical Group Family Medicine practice in Navarre, located at 7456 Navarre Pkwy.
