Hospital responds to growth in the county by expanding primary and specialty care
MILTON, Fla., - Santa Rosa Medical Center (SRMC) is responding to the growth in Santa Rosa County by adding two new board-certified physicians and two nurse practitioners to Santa Rosa Medical Group (SRMG) starting over the next several weeks.
Board-certified family medicine physician, Cindy Harris, D.O., and nurse practitioner, Naomi Golino, APRN, cardiology, are now seeing patients at Santa Rosa Medical Group. Board-certified and veteran general surgeon, Emily Fletcher, M.D., and nurse practitioner, DeVonn Bourg, APRN, OB/GYN, will start seeing patients in May.

Dr. Harris will be joining mid-level Merlandie Houston, APRN at the Santa Rosa Medical Group - Family Medicine - Milton office located at 6072 Doctor’s Park Road. She specializes in caring for active and retired military personnel, having worked with the U.S. Department of the Navy and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Dr. Harris also sees patients, older than 16, for preventive health and wellness checks; including managing diabetes and hypertension. She earned her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. Patients are already being scheduled. Golino has joined cardiologist Paul Alappat, M.D. to help see patients with follow-up appointments related to their heart health. She earned her master of science in nursing at Walden University, based out of Minneapolis, Minn.
Dr. Fletcher will be joining general surgeons Ricardo Mohammed, D.O. and Van Brandon Foles, M.D., in the Santa Rosa Medical Center Medical Office Building at 5992 Berryhill Road. She specializes in breast surgery, and hernia repairs, along with minimally invasive procedures to the appendix, gallbladder, colon and small bowels. Dr. Fletcher earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wis. She has served in the U.S. Air Force as Staff General Surgeon and is preparing for civilian life in Santa Rosa County. Bourg is joining Obstetrician and gynecologist Genevieve Hinks, D.O. at the Santa Rosa Medical Group - OBGYN - Doctor’s Park office located at 6072 Doctor’s Park Road. She will help see patients with follow-up appointments related to prenatal and postnatal care. She will see new patients for preventive health and general gynecological care, including treatment for sexually transmitted diseases and post-menopausal care. She earned her master of science in nursing at Purdue University Global, based out of West Lafayette, Ind.
