Medicare patients often ask us if we prefer one form of Medicare insurance over another. While we do gladly accept many Medicare Advantage plans, our hospital considers traditional Medicare, in conjunction with a Medicare Supplement insurance policy, to be the preferred choice of Medicare coverage for our patients. Patients often find they have more flexibility to travel and seek care from providers or facilities who may not participate in a given managed care network. In addition, the administrative expenses associated with traditional Medicare and Medicare Supplement policies are much lower than other plans.

The no-cost, no-obligation helpline connects callers with licensed insurance agents who can assist in comparing traditional Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Supplement insurance, and Part D Prescription Drug plans, and then facilitate enrollment in the plan(s) selected.
Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription Drug Plan Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is from October 15th through December 7th. Licensed insurance agents are available at no cost or obligation to help consumers find a Medicare plan that meets their health care needs.
