Santa Rosa Medical Group Grows Primary Care Access

New OBGYN and New Family Medicine Physician Join Santa Rosa Medical Group.
MILTON, Fla., - Obstetrician & gynecologist, Genevieve Hinks, D.O., and board certified physician, Veronica Holbrook, M.D., are joining Santa Rosa Medical Group (SRMG) starting Feb. 1. SRMG includes more than 25 physicians who offer primary and specialist care including general surgery, orthopedic, and walk-in care in Milton, Navarre and Pace.
Dr. Hinks was an attending physician at Prime Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan before relocating to the Northwest Florida panhandle to be with her significant other, Steve Matthews, and their two “trouble-making” beagles.
Dr. Hinks earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Cincinnati. She completed residency training in obstetrics & gynecology at Prime Garden City Hospital.
Dr. Holbrook relocated to the area with her active-duty husband and their three young children. “I chose Santa Rosa Medical Center because of the friendly, supportive culture,” she said.
Dr. Holbrook earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virgina. She received her undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Holbrook completed residency training at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina, where she was named co-chief resident.

Dr. Hinks is joining the Santa Rosa Medical Group Ob/Gyn practice in Milton located at 6072 Doctors Park Road. She is accepting new patients. Areas of specialty include general obstetrics and gynecology, minimally-invasive gynecologic procedures, infertility workups, preconception counseling and gynecologic problems.
Dr. Holbrook is joining the Santa Rosa Medical Group Family Medicine practice in Pace located at 4225 Woodbine Road. She is accepting new patients. Areas of specialty include preventative care, women’s health, diabetes, high blood pressure and mental health.
