Childbirth & Breastfeeding Education
Reserve your spot in one of our childbirth prep or breastfeeding education classes!
The Baby Suite at SRMC offers free, fun and informative classes to expectant parents taught by an experienced, registered nurse. There are two classes every other month (on Tuesdays) to help you approach the next chapter with confidence. Labor partners are welcome and encouraged!
Childbirth Prep & Newborn Care
This class prepares you for labor, delivery, recovery and caring for your newborn. It will walk you through what to expect during your hospital stay, including pain management education like epidural and nitrous oxide use during labor.
Breastfeeding
Breastfeeding is a natural process that’s not only nutritionally sound, but a great way to bond with your newborn. This class will help you and baby learn how to successfully breastfeed, allow you to ask questions, and ultimately prepare you for your breastfeeding journey at home.
All classes are held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Locklin Education Building at Santa Rosa Medical Center (behind the ER), located at 6002 Berryhill Rd. in Milton. Space is limited. Please call 850-626-5049 to register for a class.
